Kellie's tea journey began in the heart of the Himalayas, while her mum was living in Kathmandu. Trekking through the Annapurna region, they had the incredible opportunity to learn the craft of making chai from the local communities. It was this experience that planted the seeds of a deep love for tea and its rich origins.
Fast forward ten years, and that passion led Kellie to start her own tea shop inspired by the knowledge and experiences gained while traveling throughout Southeast Asia.
Tea Shop Noosa now offers 11 unique, handcrafted loose-leaf teas and herbal infusions. Each one is carefully packaged in compostable or reusable materials, reflecting their commitment to quality and sustainability.
A recent visit to their lovely Noosaville warehouse highlighted this incredible commitment being as close as we have ever seen to a zero-waste operation!
